Tell me that's not just an amazing sequence of hits right there. I've watched it like 16 times, and I STILL can't believe it all worked out that well. Only in my roller derby DREAMS (and merely once in reality) have I managed a series of hits like that.

ASIAGO, Italy - Darcy Robinson, a Canadian playing for Asiago of the Italian hockey league, died during Thursday's season-opening game. He was 26.
The native of Kamloops, B.C., fell to the ice without being hit during the first period of a game with Renon and was rushed to a local hospital where he died, Asiago said. No cause of death was given. The game was suspended.
Robinson was beginning his second season with Asiago. The defenceman, who held dual Canadian-Italian citizenship, played junior hockey in Saskatoon and Red Deer. He was selected 233rd overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1999 draft.
Prior to playing in Italy, Robinson played for the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and the ECHL's Wheeling Nailers.
He had six goals and three assists with 66 penalty minutes for Asiago last season.
He might not have been the best hockey player in the world, but he was a good guy. I'm sure that he'll be missed by the people that knew him. Hell, I miss him and I only knew him from the Chasing the Dream vids.
RIP, Darcy Robinson. We remember you.

Getting out of my dad's truck at the ranch today, I realized that I couldn't go hole up in their family room and catch a game on their Center Ice like I have for the past nine months.
This brought to my attention that very soon, a team will hoist the Cup for the first tme in franchise history and the only hockey to watch will be a few DVR'd games I've saved.
So, what is it that keeps us from going insane over the off-season? Usually I fill my summer with a pageant, but since I've officially hung my tiara up, I'll have to find something else. Most likely it'll be road trips, a countdown until my sister comes to visit for my birthday and playing on the river, filling my hockey quota with draft buzz, trade news and all the "Shark Bytes" on Youtube I can watch.
Just to ease everyone into the impending off-season, I submit my very favorite Youtube video, that shows everything the HLOG'ers are not... Well, I guess we could play dumb... you know, for comedy's sake, right?
