Ok girls.

I know it's the off season...but I'm just curious with the Draft coming up and what not...what you think your team is going to be looking for. Are they going for a goalie? A blue liner? Just curious.

I'm thinking the Caps need players that can become solid first/second line forwards. We have two good goalies in the pipeline, a young crop of defenseman, and plenty of checking forwards. We need some of those core players who can be a productive second line.

I hope the Devils don't need anyone good, because they have no draft picks.

You know, I have no clue what we're even looking for - it's been so long since the Wings have actually utilized their youth (insert Chelios and Hasek jokes here) that the concept of following who we're looking to draft is just beyond me.

The Pens need blueliners. The Canucks ... well, they need a team catalyst who isn't Luongo.

pens need some older guys though. we've got enough kids for a few years.

blue liners and a winger for sid. no malkin is not a winger for sid goddamnit!

Isles only have 4 definite picks (starting in the 3rd round) so I'm guessing they're looking for depth.

I think a centre would be nice and maybe some D-men. D-men are always valuable. But we have a good bunch in our farm team so people are really claiming to rename the Habs the Hamilton Canadiens.

Looking at past Kings draft picks, it's amazing how many picks never sign and then go back to Europe...so depressing. So, anyone who actually decides to play in North America is fine by me.

Meh, the draft is going to mostly be a nonevent in Flamesland for a couple of reasons.

First thing is that the depth of the draft pool levels off really sharply after the first five or six guys, I've heard - not to say there won't be diamonds in the rough, but they'll be hard to come by.

Second thing is Calgary won't pick high, and they've traded a good chunk of their draft picks away already.

That said, I wouldn't be shocked if Brandon (son of Brent) Sutter ended up pulling on a Flaming C. We've got the other two second-generation Sutter boys (sons of Brian and Darryl respectively), gotta collect them all!

aww, the Sutters are like Pokemon!

Well. They're not quite as cute.

My team is going to be looking to sign St. Ryan Smyth. They will give St. Ryan all of their draft picks if it makes him sign with the Isles.

The Isles are going to take whatever defensive prospects ar still around in the 75687654th round.
