'Emotional intensity and quashed dreams', huh? Well, there are a lot of painful Caps games on Fridays :)

1. I have a few that are very relevant for me and some others right now: 'Every cloud has a silver lining' and 'It's always darkest before the dawn'. *Sigh*

2. I, too, was a TV kid. Although I find myself seeking out the shows I watched as a kid. I miss being a kid.

3. Years ago my dad put together a family tree for his side of the family so I can trace it back I think 4 generations.

4. Green. I don't know why.

5. LOVE THE FRIDAY FIVE!

1. "Everything that can go wrong, will go wrong." Is that a cliche? Technically, it's a "law."

2. In 5th grade, all the cool kids watched Party of Five. I still haven't watched a single episode...I would though if I could find it. I want to figure out what the fuss was all about.

3. Yeah, great-grandparents is as far as I go, too.

4. Yellow. Because that's what I am.

5. Of course...it's an excuse to talk about myself.

Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger. It's not my favourite but I seem to say that a lot.

2. Is there a television show from your youth that you missed out on and now seek it out?
Not really. I watched A LOT of television as a kid.

3. How far back can you trace your family tree?
Uh...it's more of a houseplant really.

4. If you were a crayon, what colour would you be?
Blue + Purple = Blurple

5. Are you still having fun with the Friday Five?
Best part of Friday if you ask me :)

1) "_________ played a wonderful game tonight." or "We know what we have to do, now its just a matter of execution."

2) I didn't miss out on much. I've spent a lot of my life home alone, and use the TV as white noise - its always one.

3) I've never bothered trying, but I know who my Great-Great-Great-Great Grandparents are. So however many generations that is.

4) P!NK of course.

5) Yep!

2. No, not really. I don't care for TV that much.

3. Um... my Mom has a journal of my great-great-great-great-great grandfathers, but I don't know anything inbetween. And I know as far back as who came directly from Sweden 3 generations ago on my Dad's side.

4. Pink, duh!

5. Of course! At least when I remember to do it... ;)

1. No day's ever lost when you've learned something?

2. Ohhhh.. zip.ca (much like Netflix, but in Canada) is the bane of my existence. Transformers, Thundercats, He-man, She-ra... just bring it, bring it, bring it!

3. I did not know they existed till last year, but there are big books with the family genealogies in my parents' home villages (one is now a museum). 30 generations? As long as you're only interested in the male line, boo.

4. Brown. Like coke. Or coffee. Or a latte. Or a cappucino... Any shade will do, as long as it's caffeinated.

5. Oh, my yes. Even if it's more like the procrastinating-Monday five for me...

How many days late am I on this? Um...

1. Not sure I have one...like a good New Englander, I say 'wicked' a lot? That might be more regional slang than anything else, though.

2. I missed out on Saved By The Bell until I was in high school, but nothing that I'm catching up with now.

3. 7th or 8th generation waaaay back in Scotland before we came over to Ireland or Canada.

4. Steel blue

5. Yep!
