1. What is a movie you could watch over and over and over again?

Oh gosh I could watch lots of them over and over again...my favorite movie has to be The Notebook.

2. Can you speak another language? If not, which one would you like to learn?

Speak one? No. I do know sign language if that counts. I am trying to learn French but it's not going so hot.

3. What do you love about spring coming?

Hmmm there is lots I love about spring...my birthday haha. I like being able to hang outside without freezing my butt off.

4. Are you a dog or a cat person?

Dog person for sure...I'm allergic to cats and I think they are nasty.

5. Do you have any tattoos?

No tats...I have been close to getting one several times but it has always fallen through.

Toss up between Singin' in the Rain and The Great Escape

Can you speak another language?
Not really. I speak a little, tiny bit of Spanish and German. But very little. I would like to brush up my German because I like the way it sounds - I lean more toward the rougher, more guttural sounding languages than the pretty, tinkly ones.

What do you love about spring coming?
Not having to bundle up every time I leave the house. It'll be nice to throw on one layer of clothing and be done.

Are you a dog or a cat person?
Dogs all the way. I hate cats.

Do you have any tattoos?
Not yet. I really want one but I haven't quite decided what to get. If the Sabres win the cup, I'll probably commemorate that somehow. If not... well, I'll think of something!

1. What is a movie you could watch over and over and over again? Zoolander and Pirates of the Caribbean. Love those two movies.

2. Can you speak another language? If not, which one would you like to learn? Well, I took German in high school and I will be taking 16 credits worth of it this summer at school, but I'm not very good at it. I'd love to learn Swedish.

3. What do you love about spring coming? I love that spring smell, the bright colors, flowers blossoming, and the warmer weather.

4. Are you a dog or a cat person? Definitely a dog person. I have three dogs at home (my favorite one is an english bulldog named Magoo).

5. Do you have any tattoos? Nope and I don't really want one either.

I have a lot but the ones I find I watch most often are The Bourne Identity and Supremacy, Dazed and Confused, and Anchorman. Wait, we had to pick just one? Meh, too bad.

2. Can you speak another language? If not, which one would you like to learn?
I have a smattering of French, enough to read some signs but not able to speak it. I am learning Spanish at the moment and have labels on things in the house.

3. What do you love about spring coming?
I can finally wear sneakers again instead of my Blundstones. I love you sneakers! I'm coming soon!

4. Are you a dog or cat person?
Cat person, hands down. I have come to love the dog we got in November though, it's taken a while but I'm okay with her now.

5. Do you have any tattoos?
Yes, I have five and will be getting more. "One leads to two, two leads to twenty," best quote ever.

I'm a recovering DVD addict and own so many, but I'd have to say it's a toss up between my 3 hockey movies (Cutting Edge, Miracle and Mystery, Alaska), Philadelphia Story, and Singin' in the Rain.

Can you speak another language? If not, which one would you like to learn?
I took 5 years of French in junior high and high school but remember very little. I also took a year of conversational Hebrew in college and also remember very little...I can say "My father is a clerk in the government" (which he's not) and that's about it.

What do you love about spring coming?
I love the way Washington, DC kind of comes alive in the springtime. Everyone's outside, walking around, hanging out on the Mall. And with the cherry blossoms, it's a really beautiful place to be. Even with the tourists. ;)

Are you a dog or a cat person?
I'm both, actually, depending on my mood.

Do you have any tattoos?
Yes - a rose on my back, on my right hip, that I got my first year in college (I'm such a cliche).

1. I just adore the movie Pride and Prejudice, I actually lost my DVD of it, and had to get another one later that day I was so devistated. I also love to watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy when I work out, it's a fad my mom started. I've seen each one about 4 times.

2. I have been taking French is school for a while now, but I'm not fluent yet. I'm also considering taking Chinese with a friend over summer break b/c she was adopted from China and we think it would just be cool.

3. I don't like spring, except for the fact that it means summer is coming. I can't ski cause there's no snow, yet it's still cold enought that I'd rather be inside.

4. Just like most of you, I'm a dog person. Although, I'm sort of a girly dog person. I have 2 dogs, a sheltie and a collie, both pure breads and both spoiled rotten. I'd also love a cute little Pepion!

5. No, I'm a little young, it seems like it would be more fun to do when you're older and it's more of a crazy thing. My mom recently got a blue parrot on her shoulder that we named "Jimmy" after Jimmy Buffet. But if I ever did, it would be a wing on my left ankle, b/c I love cross country running, and I plan to keep it up forever and ever. Although, I hear that it's quite painful, and I'm not good with optional pain.

1) I'm a huge fan of Bring it On: All or Nothing. I'm a huge dork that way.

2) Je suis francaphone et/y habla muy poco espanol. I'd like to be triligual and I eventually hope to master Spanish.

3) Snow melting.

4) I am not an animal person at all, but if I had to chose, cats, because they are more independent.

5) Yes. I have one and am going to get another huge one in a couple of months.

*trilingual - I can't believe how badly I spell. This is what happens when I go from one language to another. I should just stick with one.

1. I'm not really a movie person, more of a book person (there are plenty I could read over and over), but I suppose the Star Wars trilogy.

2. I used to be able to speak Spanish, but I've fallen out of practice. I can do a little Japanese.

3. Everything.

4. I love both, but I'm a dog person

5. Not yet, but come this summer... :)

Paige: Pride and Prejudice is such a good movie. Do you have the A&E version, that one is a good one.

Well at least I actually answered on a Friday!

1. Swingers -- although I have to fast forward through the 'messages' scene. (Anyone who has seen the movie knows what I'm talkin' about)

2. Nope. I'm uni-lingual. I would like to learn Italian.

3. Growing my own herbs. They're so expensive at the store.

4. Both. I have a dog right now, but we'd like to get a cat at some point in time.

5. Not a one. Don't feel like paying someone to inflict pain on me.

Jocelynn said...

1. Office Space

2. Little bits of Spanish and French. Enough to confuse them.

3. The green hills, and being warm but not too hot.

4. Both. I am a softie for animals.

5. No, don't like pain and have seen my friends get enough bad tattoos (bad quality, I mean).

Jordi said...

1. Lots. Trust me.

2. I speak chinese at home but I assure you that I might as well not because it is terrible.

3. I'm not sure. Because I hate summer but spring is a-alright. Maybe it's just sunshine.

4. I prefer dogs but both are fun!

5. One day. One day. Or not. Who knows?

1. What is a movie you could watch over and over and over again? Anything with Kenneth Branagh... but more specifically Dead Again and Henry V

2. Can you speak another language? If not, which one would you like to learn? Fluently? None except English, although I do know a little Korean and Spanish. I would love to finish learning Korean though, so I can do more than read the characters lol

3. What do you love about spring coming? I actually hate spring, because spring always leads to summer and summer sucks majorly. If I had to pick something, I would say the cherry blossoms blooming in DC, they make the Potomac basin so beautiful

4. Are you a dog or a cat person? Absolutely a dog person, I ♥ my greyhound!

5. Do you have any tattoos? None yet, although I have plans to get "strength" in Korean on my left ankle.

I really don't know...I think I've seen Battle Royale a million times more than anyone ever should, but I think Everything is Illuminated is up there too. And I get sucked into watching Miracle any time I see any little part of it happening anywhere.

2. Can you speak another language? If not, which one would you like to learn?

I'm proficient at Japanese, certainly not fluent. I've also had a year of German and picked up some Czech while I was there this summer - I'd really love to actually learn that.

3. What do you love about spring coming?

No more SHITTY ROADS covered in ice. I actually hate spring though because everything is wet all the time.

4. Are you a dog or a cat person?

I always had a dog when I was growing up, but now I have a kitten. I think in the end I'm more a cat person.

5. Do you have any tattoos?

Nope, not yet. I'd like one but I have to settle on what.

3. What do you love about spring coming? The birds chirping and more sunlight!

4. Are you a dog or a cat person? Either, but mostly cat, since I hate being slobbered on!

5. Do you have any tattoos? Nope.

There are several. Miracle, Pretty Woman, 50 First Dates.

Can you speak another language? If not, which one would you like to learn?

I can speak enough Spanish to order a beer and ask where the bathroom is.

What do you love about spring coming?

Warmer weather.

Are you a dog or a cat person?

I would say cat, since that's all I've ever had.

Do you have any tattoos?

Not yet. The girls & I are thinking about some kind of hockey related tattoo.

Elly- I actually havn't seen the A&E version yet, but I bought it a little while ago, and will soon. I hear it's amazing. I'm a sucker for any classics.

Brit- Oh my gosh! You have a greyhound! I remember when I was really little, begging my mom for one. Now I look at the adoption center, and I just want to feed them, they look so skinny.

Anything by Kevin Smith, but mostly, the only things I watch over and over again is tv-on-dvd.

2. Can you speak another language? If not, which one would you like to learn?
Italian, Spanish, and a smidge of American Sign Language.

3. What do you love about spring coming?
It means no. more. goddamn. snow.

4. Are you a dog or a cat person?
My roommate has a cat, and I can kind of stand it, but I miss my parents' dog.

5. Do you have any tattoos?
God, no. I have commitment issues.

1. When I have insomnia, I watch Fight Club over and over again.

2. My French skills are ... decent.

3. Nothing! It gets muddy and brown patches are everywhere. I like winter.

4. Dogs. Cats are too high maintenance.

5. We'll see what happens this playoff season.

1. What is a movie you could watch over and over and over again?

Um, most even-numbered Star Trek movies? Star Wars (the first three...in my alternate universe George Lucas stopped making movies after 1984). Lord of the Rings.

God, I'm such a geek.

2. Can you speak another language? If not, which one would you like to learn?

Yeah, I can speak Cantonese reasonably well. Vocabulary isn't great, and my accent is a horror, but I can make myself understood.

3. What do you love about spring coming?

Flowers. I love seeing everything sprout and bloom and blaze into new life. Particularly in Calgary, where it seems everything happens the same week.

4. Are you a dog or a cat person?

I'm allergic to both I think, but otherwise I'd be a dog person.

5. Do you have any tattoos?

No.
