1. Never. And I NEVER will. My mother found mine when I was 19 and read it from end to end. It was my worst nightmare!
2. It's on my license that I'm an organ donor. Although I don't think my liver would be worth much to anyone. I'm lucky it's still workin'for me ;-)
3. Nope. I am who I am. Take it or leave it. (Nice attitude, I know... it's a shocker I have a fiance)
4. Jimi Hendrix -- that's pretty self-explanatory.
5. Sincerity. Fake people PISS ME OFF!

1. When I was younger I used to read my big sister's diary. I think that's a requirement of being a bratty little sister, though. I was born to play that role :)

2. I am an organ donor and I contribute to a few bleeding heart liberal groups...which of course gets me on the mailing list for 75 other bleeding heart liberal groups wanting money.

3. I would probably just try to talk to the TV less during games so I don't seem completely nuts. I'd feel sorry for anyone watching, though - I'm pretty dull!

4. That's a toughie; I guess maybe U2. Or Pete Yorn. Or the Beatles. Or Salt N Pepa. Do I have to pick just one?

5. I am endlessly impressed by people with a great sense of humor. Anyone can be serious, but funny is harder to do and I think it's a sign of intelligence (so basically we got ourselves a smart group of gals here at HLOG!)

1. No, I can't recall ever doing that.

2. Yes, I carry an organ donor card. I also give money to UC Santa Cruz every year.

3. I'd probably change my eating habits. And I'd clean out my car, which generally looks like I use it as a trash bin.

4. Tom Petty

5. I wish I was more observant, like a friend of mine who notices the smallest things (fortunantly for me, she points them out). Apparently, I miss a a lot because I think too much.

HG said...

1. Nope. Being an only child made me miss out on such important life events.

2. I don't carry a card, but I am one; it's connected to my health card.

3. Hmmm... Nope. What you see and hear is what you get. I might brush my hair though. And put on make-up. And an evening gown. And ride my unicorn instead of just looking at it.

4. Red Hot Chili Peppers. No hesitation on that one.

5. Honesty. I don't like it when people BS and make shit up to try to be someone they're not. Be yourself!

1. Nope. I'm worried I might read something that I would wish I hadn't.

2. I don't have an organ donor card, and can't remember if I specified it on my license. But I donate to lots of charities and public radio (have the T-shirts to prove it).

3. No, but I'd do my best to go into hiding.

4. Today it would be Chris Isaak. Tomorrow it might be someone else.

5. Humor. Make me laugh and I'll adore you.

1. Have you ever taken a peek at someone else's diary?
[Gasp!] Never! Well at least not on purpose. There was this one time my friend was feeling very passive-aggressive and LEFT IT OPEN ON MY DESK for me to see.

2. Do you carry an organ donor card or volunteer/donate to anything?
Nope because it's more of a religious and tradition kind of thing but I would not be adverse to donating my organs whilst alive if needed. You know, the ones I don't need to function, obviously.

3. If you knew that every minute of the next 24 hours of your life would be recorded on camera, is there anything you would change about your habits?
Well who wouldn't, right? ;D You don't get to know what I would change because I have to maintain SOME mystery here!

Fine, I have a tendency to talk to myself. Alot. It's like an internal monologue, like the ones JD does on Scrubs, except with me it's not always internal.

4. If you could have any music group or musician alive today to play at your birthday party, which group would you hire?
Oh dude, my favouritest band in the world Muse of course. For my birthday one year my friend edited a picture of me and the lead singer together. Good times! If you don't know who they are I command you to find them out and earn yourself some cool points.

5. What is one personality trait that really impresses you in others?
Creativity. But not the pretentious, elitist kind. The kind that makes you go "Whoa" that's down-to-earth yet profound at the same time. And snark. Goodness, I love my snark.

1. Have you ever taken a peek at someone else's diary?
Yes. I'd be horrified if anyone ever read mine, but I'm fasciniated by other people's nonetheless.

2. Do you carry an organ donor card or volunteer/donate to anything?
I think I'm listed as an organ donor on my license but I'm not sure. I give annually to the American Heart Association in honor of my dad. I do/give other stuff here and there but that's the only consistent one.

3. If you knew that every minute of the next 24 hours of your life would be recorded on camera, is there anything you would change about your habits?

I'm sure there's something, but I don't know what. Like Sherry, I do talk to myself quite a bit. More than I talk to other people really. I probably wouldn't do that as much if I knew I was being watched because it can get quite involved.

4. If you could have any music group or musician alive today to play at your birthday party, which group would you hire?

U2! U2! U2! No one else is really even in the running.

THC, Hendrix is dead and therefore not an eligible answer to this question. And Rebecca, you'll have to settle for half of the Beatles. ;-)

5. What is one personality trait that really impresses you in others?

I'm not really sure how to say this but I like people who are unafraid to express their sincere opinion about something - movies, books, sports whatever - regardless of whether it's the popular opinion or not. I love Hanson and I don't get Radiohead and I'm not afraid to admit it!

I kind of forgot that yesterday was Friday. Whoops.

1. Have you ever taken a peek at someone else's diary?
only the ones that are put on the internets for all to see. though, i've heard good things about sarah brown's cringe, though i've never been and really want to see.

2. Do you carry an organ donor card or volunteer/donate to anything?
i am an organ donor, and rarely donate money, mostly because i am poor. i volunteer to help out when it serves a selfish purpose.

3. If you knew that every minute of the next 24 hours of your life would be recorded on camera, is there anything you would change about your habits?
i would probably curse less if it was for a network, because i hate the bleeping. if it was for cable, no, there's nothing i wouldn't change, but i'm not all that exciting.

4. If you could have any music group or musician alive today to play at your birthday party, which group would you hire?
hanson. or maybe nsync. or new kids on the block. or maybe all three.

5. What is one personality trait that really impresses you in others?
the courage to use a gas pedal or turn signal in this godless, morally depraved world.

1. Have you ever taken a peek at someone else's diary?

Not counting LiveJournal, I have not peeked at anyone else's diary.

2. Do you carry an organ donor card or volunteer/donate to anything?

I am a huge proponent of organ and tissue donation. I had a tissue transplant in May 2006 for my knee and need another one soon. I helped start U of M Students for Organ Donation last year and we've registered at least 2000 people since last April! I am also on the bone marrow registry.

I also do the U of M Relay for Life every year to help raise money to find a cure against cancer! :)

3. If you knew that every minute of the next 24 hours of your life would be recorded on camera, is there anything you would change about your habits?

I would prolly try to make it a bit more interesting and not spend so much time on the internet. lol.

4. If you could have any music group or musician alive today to play at your birthday party, which group would you hire?

Oh wow. Umm, I guess I'll go with Kenny Chesney. Yes, I like country music. And Kenny is one of the best in the business.

5. What is one personality trait that really impresses you in others?

If someone is hard working, I'm a fan. I may not agree with them or even like them, but if they can work hard and get the job done, you can't really complain...

1. I don't think so...but I'm pretty sure if the opportunity came up and it wasn't a close friend, I would...haha.

2. I don't carry an organ donor card, mainly because I just don't want to have that conversation with my dad, who would most certainly be against it. I don't have any problem with it, so I'll probably start carrying one once I move out. Or get married.
I do donate here and there, to who asks.

3. Yes. Instead of saying awkward things that aren't funny, I'd just keep my mouth shut when the urge strikes.

4. Bon Jovi. I like the way he's so overdone.

5. Integrity. Why are so many people lying cheats?

Have you ever taken a peek at someone else's diary?

Yes. I'm a voyeur.

Do you carry an organ donor card or volunteer/donate to anything?

Pitifully, I don't even have a driver's license. I volunteer at my local hospital's pediatrics/maternity ward.

If you knew that every minute of the next 24 hours of your life would be recorded on camera, is there anything you would change about your habits?

Stop picking my nose, start shaving and keep my hands out of my pants? ...

If you could have any music group or musician alive today to play at your birthday party, which group would you hire?

Radiohead.

What is one personality trait that really impresses you in others?

Sincerity, ambition, drive. It's why I'm so curious about elite-level junior players -- they're my age and already pursuing something they know they want. (Except for the Alexandre Daigles of the world, anyhow.)

Have you ever taken a peek @ someone else's diary?

No... do blogs count? heh.

Do you carry an organ donor card or volunteer/donate to anything?

I recently started writing for an organization called Team Ferior Sports which tries to help needy kids get the equipment they need to play sports.

If you knew that every minute of the next 24 hours of your life would be recorded on camera, is there anything you would change about your habits?

Um... well, if I was O'Brien, I wouldn't pick my nose on camera. =) Hehe. But since I'm not O'B, um, I probably wouldn't pee with the bathroom door open and parade around the gym locker room butt-arse nekkid. I'd try not to snore @ night, but I don't think I could help that. Cassie would say that I should try to hide my big-arse nerdiness. Apparently, I really am the biggest nerd alive when I am immensely amused by the number of pockets - mesh and otherwise - in a laptop backpack. Functionality is sexy.

If you could have any music group or musician alive today to play @ your b/day party, which group would you hire?

Justin Timberlake. But he could keep his Timbersnake away from me.

What is one personality trait that really impresses you in others?

Laughing at yourself. Not taking life too seriously.

Sorry I am late, didn't turn my computer on Friday or Saturday. Oops!
Have you ever taken a peek at someone else's diary?

Nope, I am an only child so I didn'd have anyone's to read.

Do you carry an organ donor card or volunteer/donate to anything?

I have the donor card that is attached to your drivers license.

If you knew that every minute of the next 24 hours of your life would be recorded on camera, is there anything you would change about your habits?

I would not yell or scream at the TV during hockey games. I would also not do stupid things while standing in front of the glass, i.e. mouthing things or jumping up and down.

If you could have any music group or musician alive today to play at your birthday party, which group would you hire?

Probably Garth Brooks

What is one personality trait that really impresses you in others?

A great sense of humor.

OMG, I totally didn't read that question thoroughly! Ok, so I guess I'll say U2 since I plan on using one of their songs as my wedding song... =)But my future husband may not like me flirting with Larry Mullen Jr. ;-)

Objectionable Conduct said...

1) Totally. I am such a snoop.

2) No. I've had some health issues and nobody would want my organs at this point.

3) I'd probably primp even more then I normally do, which would likely be highly annoying to those watching me.

4) G-G-G-G-Unit. What can I say? I love Lloyd Banks. I mean any man who spells his last name B-A-N-K-dollar sign bitch, is totally my kind of man.

5) Talent. In anything. Because I am one of those people who is kind of good at everything, but not REALLY good at any one thing.

Heather B. said...

THC: You can't tell me you're going to use a U2 song at your wedding and then NOT tell me the song! Or is it top secret? I'm happily married but I think I'd have to do a little flirting with Larry and Edge while I had the chance :-)
