Friday Five

Please let me know if I'm ever repeating any questions, etc.

1.) What is your favorite part about spring?
2.) Are painted toenails a requirement for open toed shoe season?
3.) Piece of advice/phrase your parents tell you EVERY TIME you see/talk to them?
4.) If you found $5 on the ground, what would you do with it right now?
5.) Do you have any siblings?

1.) Being able to roll the car windows down. (Why? I have no idea)

2.) Ha. I think the last time I painted my toenails was high school. And the last time I wore open toed shoes (aka flipflops?) Um, yesterday.

3.) "Hang in there kiddo."

4.) Put it towards a Payday Avalanche in the vending machine at work.

5.) Absolutley none. But we do have a stubborn dog.

2. No. Definitely no.

3. Mom - get to work on my thesis; Dad - score goals and stay out of the box.

4. Find and purchase a banana popsicle. I've been craving one all week.

5. Nope.

1. My eighth university semester drawing to a close, and the hope that we won't experience any bouts of -40 C weather again until next winter.

2. No, but I always abide by that rule.

3. "Don't use your credit cards!" I don't listen - I need to eat!

4. Think,"Only $35 more dollars and I can go to the hockey game on Tuesday."

5. I have a pair of older brothers and they once tried to dunk me headfirst in the toilet.

1. The end of classes, and packing away the shovel.

2. I hope not, or I've been breaking the rules.

3. Lately - "Well, the semester's almost over..."

4. Put it toward a pumpkin scone at Starbucks.

5. Not a one.

1.) What is your favorite part about spring?
As much as I love snow, we've had way too much of it this year. The playoffs too and being able to wear skirts.

2.) Are painted toenails a requirement for open toed shoe season?
I don't think so, I really don't like painting my nails in general.

3.) Piece of advice/phrase your parents tell you EVERY TIME you see/talk to them?
That I'll never find a husband unless I soften up a little bit. Yeah, I don't know either.

4.) If you found $5 on the ground, what would you do with it right now?
Well, usually I ask if anybody lost it but since it's only $5 no harm done right?

5.) Do you have any siblings?
Just one older brother.

5. one of each

1. Driving with my sunroof open.

2. I haven't painted my toenails since...I can't even remember.

3. Well, 90% of our conversations devolve into arguing about grad school, does that count?

4. Go buy an iced coffee, because it is gorgeous outside. What do you mean I'm supposed to be saving for a plane ticket?

5. Nope!

1.) Well it's been spring for like a month here, but I do like the spring flowers that bloom (provided I've had my allergy shots), and I like knowing school is almost over.

2.) I hope not. It's a lot too much work for me at this point in the semester.

3.) Mom-be sure and eat something that will stick to your ribs (even though I don't live in a cold place any more...) and get plenty of rest. Dad-Who's responsible for you?

4.) Put it in my pocket and save it for next week so I can buy a medium Mint Condition from Caribou when I go home on Thursday!!!

5.) I have a younger brother.

Prez-how did your mom react to your brothers trying to dunk you in the toilet?

1. Green things. Not that we'll be there for at least another month.

2. I have never painted my nails, on hands, or feet, ever. So it better not be required.

3. "Tell us what time you're coming home." Oh... 27 and offspring again...the fun.

4. This actually happened to me Tuesday. I looked around to see if there was anybody who'd obviously dropped it, then pocketed it. I'll probably give it to Tim Horton's eventually.

5. One of me's enough, don't you think?

2.) No

3.) Mom - Did you lose weight? (No, I put some on TYVM.) Mom & Dad - Love you.

4.) Add it to my morning iced coffee fund.

1.) What is your favorite part about spring?
- The fact that it gets green... or as green as possible in this wasteland.

2.) Are painted toenails a requirement for open toed shoe season?
- I'd say no, but they should look nice. Not all ragged, like you're about to cut a bish.

3.) Piece of advice/phrase your parents tell you EVERY TIME you see/talk to them?
- Mom - You know what I heard?? (She likes to impress me with her knowledge... she hasn't yet realized that I don't care. ;P)

4.) If you found $5 on the ground, what would you do with it right now?
- I would wonder when I lost my $5.

5.) Do you have any siblings?
- Not that are claimed. But my dad is an... uhm, yeah. I might have some floating out there somewhere.

1) Nothing. Spring is dirty and gross where I live - what with all the snow melting. Playoffs is probably the only good thing.

2) Painted toenails are a requirement year round. I am a diva darlings....

3) My parents don't give me advice. They just give me money.

4) Go get some chips.

5) Possibly.... Then again, maybe not!
