Can you even believe it!? The Friday Five is up on Friday morning!
- What is the first thing you need to do when you move into somewhere new?
- What is the first place you seek out in a new city?
- What piece of furniture is most important to have?
- What could you go without to have that piece of furniture?
- What is the one piece of furniture you have but never use?

Oh! It's moving related! Me me me me!
1) Clean it up...I'm not usually a germophobe, but you never know, right?
2) A library and somewhere to buy bus tickets/tokens/passes
3) A comfy mattress
4) Just about everything
5) I have a recliner which was handed down to me four years ago, but which I've probably never sat more than ten minutes in since.
Does anybody want stuff? Come over and loot. Please.
1. I'm with Leanne, I clean the place.
2. Bookstore.
3. TV
4. sofa
5. dinner table
Oooh! my new roomie is moving in at the end of the month, so it's kind of like i'm moving, too... in a way.. lol
What is the first thing you need to do when you move into somewhere new?
After cleaning, I set up the kitchen.
What is the first place you seek out in a new city?
closest Starbucks
What piece of furniture is most important to have?
Bed
What could you go without to have that piece of furniture?
Um... Bookshelves
What is the one piece of furniture you have but never use?
We actually use all of our furniture... but our table is what we use the least b/c it's in an awkward spot so we have room to dance... lol
1. What is the first thing you need to do when you move into somewhere new?
Why, put refrigerator magnets up, of course! How could we live without them?
2. What is the first place you seek out in a new city?
A nice grocery store, where we can get fresh veggies, nice-quality meat and good wine.
3. What piece of furniture is most important to have?
Since we're counting a TV as an appliance, we'll say the essential furniture is comfy beds. A bed can serve as all the other furniture you need, too: sofa, table, desk, etc.
4. What could you go without to have that piece of furniture?
A table. We never eat at our table, anyway, opting to eat on the couch in front of the TV, so the dining room table is basically just there to make our chandelier look more balanced in the room.
5. What is the one piece of furniture you have but never use?
Unless serving as visual balance for the chandelier counts as a use, the answer here clearly is our dining room table!
Oh, and HG, no I could not believe it when I saw the Five up this morning! You need to warn us next time, because I could have sustained a serious injury falling out of my chair, and my employer would have been on the hook for workman's comp... and those kinds of specious insurance claims just make things terrible for everyone. Think of the greater good here! ;-)
What is the first thing you need to do when you move into somewhere new?
Clean... because ew.
What is the first place you seek out in a new city?
A grocery. I normally always need food. Haha.
What piece of furniture is most important to have?
A bed. Beds are my life.
What could you go without to have that piece of furniture?
Just about everything else.
What is the one piece of furniture you have but never use?
A kitchen table. I hardly ever eat there.
What is the first thing you need to do when you move into somewhere new?
Clean.
What is the first place you seek out in a new city?
The nearest grocery store.
What piece of furniture is most important to have?
A bed, or even just a mattress.
What could you go without to have that piece of furniture?
In terms or what other furniture I could do without, pretty much anything.
What is the one piece of furniture you have but never use?
I think I use everything. My place is so small that I don't have a formal "dining" table and chairs or a microwave oven. We have a loveseat and not an actual couch because that would be too big.
It's been a while since I moved.
1. Lie on the bed? What's wrong with that??
2. Where I am? Probably the foodstuff and public transport.
3. the bed. Without it, there will be no comfortable sleep.
4. Sleep? Water? oh a desk!
5. a chair but to be fair it's a coat rack.
I've never moved to a new city except for university, and that barely counts. Half the stuff is done for you (rez) and college life is kind of like a containment bubble.
1. Set up the phone? Not that I had to, it was already done for me.
2. Hypothetically, a pho restaurant.
3. Bed. Not so hypothetically.
4. um...food, for a few hours.
5. I guess I don't use the dining room table much at school.
1. Get the cable working so I can watch hockey.
2. I never moved to a new city, so I wouldn't know.
3. Bed
4. Everything, except hockey.
5. rocking chair.
