Is anyone else starting to feel sorry for the Russian kid who continues to sit because of the lack of a transfer agreement? I hate it when someone who is ranked highly sits unpicked because of outside circumstances that are beyond his control. It's just sad. I wish they'd stop showing him sitting there all pathetic.
In other news, my Sharks did it again. Traded up to get the player they wanted, this time Logan Couture. DW is starting to get a rep for these kinds of moves. He is nothing if not decisive and determined.

Yes, he finally got picked. And not too terribly late, either. I dislike the Rangers but am glad they picked him 'cause the speculation was making me crazy!
I felt so bad for him, they kept zooming in on him and he kept looking worse each time... then I got over it. :)

It really was a bit uncomfortable watching him sit there and squirm. In that hair-cut. And high-waisted pants.
Sadly enough, if you watched him during the world Juniors, he was easily the best player out there but he only goes one way or the either: really amazing, or really terrible.
Apparently his favourite player is Jaromir Jagr. Something must be wrong with him.
I feel wworse for Angelo Esposito. His stock DROPPED. XD Ranked #1 overall last year, and ddn't get picked till 20.

Worse than the sitting there uncomfortable was the awkward laughing. But just how excited he was when he did get picked and they were asking him about Jagr and whatnot made up for it - wonder if he figures all the worrying was worth it. He might have been a little bit of a fashion disaster, but it was cute...somehow.
