AHL Finals: Bulldogs 4, Bears 0

The Hamilton Bulldogs won game 1 of the Calder Cup Finals tonight against the Hershey Bears.

Carey Price got the shutout. A 46-save shut-out. In his rookie year.
Yowza.

Now if only a certain other team could have such a sparkling performance in their finals series. Wouldn't that be grand?

So who's joining me for the finals games when the series shifts back to Hamilton then?

I wish I lived closer! If only I were still on the close side of the state I'd drive up for it, but alas. Cheer for Stortini for me though!

Steph - Excuses, excuses. Stortini is sad now! Like Antoine's hair!

McP - Well then, it's time to bring that huge cheering section over to Hamilton! It's not that far! [goes to Google it]

...okay maybe it is.

I'm hoping the Bears can pick it up long enough to bring it back to Hershey. I'll be the one in the cheap seats with the ridiculous camera zoom yelling her head off.

Vive la Giant Center!

Sherry - Yeah, just a smidge of a commute... I know Jill has been there a couple times so far, but I think she's the only Ams Fan who has the resources (and time) to actually make the journey. :)

Aw crap, I'm making EVERYONE sad. But but...besides, you don't want me there, remember my AHL curse?! They'd lose! Then Stortini would be even MORE sad!

I think I should start a collection among Bears/Caps fans to send Steph to Hamilton for the next game ;)
