Not only did Timmy Connolly FINALLY play today (scoring a goal and looking pretty darn comfortable for a guy who hasn't played in 11 months), it appears that he came to his senses and shaved that ridiculous fu manchu he was sporting earlier in the season. Talk about your Easter miracles! I'm just so darn happy right now it hurts.

I really wasn't a hard-core fan last year, so this is the first time that I'd watch him play and payed close attention. He looked great (even though his goal was really a lucky shot... haha). They'll probably give him a lot of playing time today to get ready for the playoffs. It's great to see him back!
Paige, I'd be surprised if he gets totally to his peak this season because of his lack of conditioning, but I think you'll love watching Tim play. He's not as fast as Max (who is?) but he's very quick and he has amazing hands and creativity. Tim and Max finished last year on the same line and they were breathtaking some nights. I still have a partial recording of a game from last season on my Tivo because of an awesome Timmy goal.
As for luck, hey it's like Lindy's been preaching: Put it on the damn net and good things can happen :-)
