Trades! Trades! Trades!

If you've elected to take the smart route and try not to let Trade Deadline '07 consume your life Mirtle's Globe Blog and 2 Man Advantage both have very excellent Trade round-ups for you.

All I have to say about the Senators inaction is said at my blog. Other than that I don't know whether or not to feel sorry for my dear Marty Biron. Finally able to paint his mask and be a starter somewhere, but banished to Philly.

As for the Trade Deadline Network Battle? I'm going to say it's a Toss-Up between the Score and TSN. I think Sportsnet just gave up.

During an interview on the radio this afternoon Marty sounded very happy about getting a chance to start with an organization he was familiar with. Also sounded like they've talked a bit about him signing there after the season. I do think if Philly does something with the draft picks they've picked up they have the makings of a good young team in the next few years. But I still can't wrap my brain around cheering for a Flyer. Somethings just aren't right.

I'm a little surprised the Sens didn't do anything. I have to say, I think a playoff series between you guys and Pittsburgh could be very, very interesting.

Marty does have a painted mask you know... it's just "uncomfortable"
It was really cool too, with blue on one side and yellow on the other and the logo on each and a lightening bolt down the middle.
