We'd Like to Decline the Penalty

The Sabres' power play is so pathetic, our goalie can hardly keep from being physically ill afterward:

I'm with you, Ryan. What the hell is going on that we suddenly morph into Timbits once the PP clock starts? I do not understand! I want to understand but I DO! NOT!

No Ryan, it's not worth it!

I wonder if that's possible. Declining a powerplay.

Alas, you have to take the penalty. A friend of mine actually looked it up to make sure during a stretch where the PP was 0 for 97 or so. Too bad!

Ah, been there. Wait, I'm still there. Anyone catch the Caps-Sens game last night? Brutal...

Heather, I love the Timbits reference :) There is nothing cuter than a bunch of kids playing hockey - or at least wearing hockey equipment and running into each other.

I love the picture! It's just after the second Sabres vs. Bruins game, and we did improve our penalty a little bit w/ Vanek scoring a goal. Good thing too, b/c come playoff time, the teams could use our power play weakness against us!

Paige: Our PP looked a MILLION times better tonight. Even the couple we didn't score on looked good. We kept it in the offensive zone the whole time which is improvement enough over the past couple of weeks. The whole game was better tonight really and the slight depression I was feeling is lifting. How sweet was Max's goal?! Totally sweet.
