My condolences go the family, friends and teammates of Flames draft pick Mickey Renaud. According to the Flames' site and CP, Renaud collapsed suddenly today and attempts at resuscitation were unsuccessful. He was captain of the OHL's Windsor Spitfires.
I am at a loss for words. I'm trying to think of something to say about how it puts things in perspective but I just don't know.

Good god - where did this black cloud over hockey come from? I was going to post something, but it pales in comparison to the newsworthy-ness of this. I can't imagine what his family is going through - the kid was 19!
That is horribly sad and tragic. Will definitely be keeping his family in our prayers.
