Today we talk about favourites.

Woo, Friday Five! Just the thing to snap me out of my post-Calder Cup/post-Stanley Cup/pre-vacation funk...

1) Chocolate. Any type. I'm not picky.
2) Chocolate. Any type. I'm not picky.
3) Cho- wait, no. Spaghetti w/ meat sauce.
4) The Beatles - creative, right? What can I say. Stick with the classics.
5) I'm weird and tend to only remember the bad dreams for some reason...must be the pessimist in me.

Anything Japanese, but I always like Japanese curry.

1. Black Forest. It's a childhood thing. Though lately, I think I just love the booziness of a good grownup version.
2. Old Dutch potato chips
3. Anything that comes off of my BBQ
4. Not in particular. My tastes are pretty eclectic. I'm playing some Thievery Corporation now, if you want the flavour of the week...
5. Usually happens before I wake up, half smothered/strangled in blankets.

Favorite cake? Anything that combines chocolate, espresso mousse, and more chocolate.

Favorite treat? We treat ourselves to extravagantly high-end chocolates for all the hockey holidays (opening night, the all-star break and the start of the playoffs).

Favorite dinner? Schnookie makes this pasta with sweet italian sausage, red and yellow bell peppers and tomatoes. SO GOOD.

Favorite music? We both listen to what would be classified as "alternative", but that seems vague. Our most recent obsession is with the Baby Bird box set Pookie got Schnookie for her birthday.

Favorite dream? Of world peace! And, uh, of the Devils winning some more Stanley Cups, of course. And us getting rich off our blog.

2. Mangosteen! Dear America, why do you suck so much and not have them?

3. Barbeque! Steak and corn and potatoes with a nice salad...mmm.

4. Alkaline Trio!

5. Two nights ago I dreamt that Roli knocked out Pronger and stole his Cup. It's winning for now.

A few times a year I have a dream that I'm in a luxury suite at a hockey game during OT, tearing a napkin to bits b/c I'm so nervous about the outcome of the game... I'm always super skinny and looking absolutley perfect in the dream... What it tells me? Maybe I'm ready for the off-season. :)
