In hockey and Toronto even the smallest shred of Leafs news is headlines long after the lads are golfing. This story has not only taken a life of its own, but the 9 lives of local alley cats.
Sundin having a medical problem of that nature would explain a lot, but Steve Simmons has been known to be off the mark many a time.
Time will tell.
Oh, yes, and before you lot all rub it in, today is the 40th anniversary of the last time the Toronto Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup. If Bo Sox fans could wait it out, so can we!
